Best Buddies
One of my core values is making people feel a sense of belonging. I hate being excluded and I never want to make anyone else feel that way. Because of that, I am passionate about Best Buddies, an organization where I volunteer and spend time with kids who have special needs. We meet every Friday for different activities like bowling and going to the zoo. It’s amazing to see how my connection with my buddies strengthens over time. I also spend a lot of time fundraising for the organization and have raised over $2000.
